September and October
Autumn: Mushrooms, game and chestnuts
The leaves turn copper and the chestnut burrs drop into the courtyard. In the kitchen, the dishes of the forest and the fire come back.
On the table
- Polenta with wild mushrooms, depending on the harvest
- Braised game, when there is some
- Busecca
- Chestnuts cooked in milk
In the courtyard
On the last Sunday in October we hold the castagnata: roast chestnuts in the courtyard and the last party before the winter break.
A tip. At the end of October it gets dark early: the path from the car park is lit, but comfortable shoes help.
