What we do for your car

Five jobs make up most of our working day. For anything else, just ask.

  • Servicing and maintenance

To the manufacturer’s schedule, for all makes: oil, filters, brake fluid, spark plugs, depending on the interval. We stamp the service book.

    • Your manufacturer’s warranty stays valid
    • Usually ready the same day
  • MFK inspection prep

Before the official vehicle inspection (MFK), we check everything the road traffic office checks: brakes, lights, steering, suspension, exhaust emissions, rust. We only fix faults once you say yes.

    • List of faults with prices first
    • We can take the car to the inspection
  • Tyre changes and storage

Change, balance, check tread depth and age. Your wheels are washed, labelled and stored with us until the next season.

    • Change in about 30 minutes
    • 400 spaces in tyre storage
  • Repairs

Brakes, clutch, exhaust, suspension, electrics. We find faults with diagnostic testers for all common makes.

    • Quote before work starts
    • Courtesy car by arrangement
  • Air-con service

Recover the refrigerant, test the system for leaks, refill. For older cars with R134a and newer ones with R1234yf.

    • Takes about 1 hour
    • Best done before summer

How your appointment works

From your call to collection, you always know where your car is.

  1. Step 1: Book an appointment

Use the form or call us. We confirm the same or the next working day and tell you roughly how long it will take.

  2. Step 2: Bring the car

Between 7:30 and 9:00, or the evening before into the key box next to the gate. Buses and the S-Bahn stop within walking distance.

  3. Step 3: We check and call you

If we find more than we agreed, you get a call with the price first. Without your OK we do nothing extra.

  4. Step 4: Ready to collect

You get a text as soon as the car is ready, with the invoice amount. You can pay in cash or by card.

Common questions

Does my warranty stay valid if I don’t go to a dealer?

Yes. We service to the manufacturer’s schedule, with original-equipment quality parts, and stamp the service book. That keeps the manufacturer’s warranty valid.

What does MFK inspection prep include?

We check your car the way the official inspection does: brakes, lights, steering, suspension, exhaust emissions, rust. You get a list of faults with prices. If you like, we take the car to the inspection ourselves.

When should I switch to winter tyres?

Switzerland has no general winter tyre requirement. But if you cause an accident in snow on summer tyres, you can be held partly liable. Rule of thumb: from October to Easter.

Can I drop the car off outside opening hours?

Yes. There is a key box next to the gate. Put the key in one of the envelopes, write down your name, phone number and number plate, and you are done.

Do you repair vans too?

Yes, up to 3.5 t gross weight. One of our three lifts is built for them.
