Privacy

What data we process when you visit this website or request a table, why we do it and what rights you have. Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, for visitors from the European Economic Area, the GDPR.

2. What data and why

Visiting the website

The website is hosted by Cloudflare. Each visit involves technical data (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser), processed to show the pages and protect the site from abuse. We do not use it for anything else.

Table request

If you fill in the form, we process the day, time, number of guests, seating preference, name, phone number and your notes. We need them only to reply and confirm the table by phone or text message.

If you mention allergies or intolerances in the notes, that is health data: we use it only to prepare your meal and delete it after your visit. Only tell us what the kitchen needs to know.

Analytics and cookies

We use no analytics, advertising or profiling tools and set no cookies. Fonts are loaded from our own site, with no requests to outside services.

3. Who receives the data

Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting and delivery of form messages). Cloudflare may process data in the United States: the transfer relies on the Swiss–U.S. Data Privacy Framework or, where that does not apply, on the standard contractual clauses with the Swiss addendum.

4. How long

We keep table requests until the end of the season in which you ate with us, then delete them. Notes on allergies and intolerances are deleted straight after your visit.

5. Your rights

You can ask at any time what data we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted. Just write to info@grotto-trelumi.example or call us. You can also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
